Dr. Frank Ko is currently the CEO and President of AUO. He has more than 20 years of experience in the display industry. Since joining AUO in its early days, he has held various roles in technology research and development, manufacturing process and integration, product marketing and sales, and strategic development, showcasing his well-rounded management expertise. He previously served as Chairman and CEO of E Ink Holdings Inc., driving innovative e-paper applications. In 2019, he returned to AUO as President and Chief Operating Officer. He was promoted to CEO and President in 2023, overseeing the company’s overall operation plan and long-term development blueprint. Dr. Ko holds a Ph.D. degree in Photonics from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.

Gang Xu (许刚) is a Sr. partner and managing director of BCG. He leads BCG Greater China Industrial Goods Practice and auto sector. Gang has 25 years of consulting experience, led numerous strategy and transformation projects for China auto JVs and SOEs. Before consulting, Gang spent 5 years with Ford Motor Co in Dearborn, USA. Gang received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, and MBA from University of Michigan. Gang graduated with his BSME from Zhejiang University.

Dipl. Ing. (TH) Michael Jaeger, CEO of BHTC GmbH, brings over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. He assumed the role of Chairman of the Management Board at the BHTC Group in 2021. He joined HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA in 2012 as a member of the Management Board. Prior to HELLA, Jaeger held key positions at Robert-Bosch GmbH, including Senior Vice President of Product Center E-Machines for BEV/(P)HEV and Vice President of Product Management and R&D. Jaeger studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH in Aachen and worked as a research assistant and senior engineer at the Institute of Automotive Engineering in his earlier career.

Robert Kuo currently serves as General Manager of China Business Unit and General Manager of the Suzhou Site at AUO. He is responsible for driving the development of the automotive business in China, including sales, marketing and product management, while also overseeing the overall operations of AUO Suzhou. Since joining AUO in 1999, he was appointed Director of the Suzhou Site in 2006 and promoted to General Manager in 2016. With a background in key roles across manufacturing, operations, and business, he has accumulated solid management and hands-on experience in China. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Suzhou Industrial Park Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (SIP-AEFI) and holds an EMBA from the National University of Singapore.

Mr. Li joined Li Auto in 2019, leading the development of the Li ONE display system. He led the projects behind the company’s launch of the industry-leading SS2.0 five-screen interactive system in 2022 on the flagship L9, featuring an ultra-thin OLED dual screen, electric second-row display, super-clear HUD, and Mini LED Touch Bar. In 2025, he led the development of the SS3.1 system, introduced on the Smart Refresh Edition Mega and L9 with advanced display technologies.

Having worked in BMW for over a decade, Pascal involved in various of international and global projects for innovative digital products. With a passion for tech and design, he balances innovation with user-centric solutions, embodying BMW’s commitment to cutting-edge mobility experiences.
Last year he took the new challenge to join as part of the Connected Company China which is responsible for information and communication electronics as well as digital products and services with focus the Business Lines My Car, User Interaction and Usability/Customer Studies for China market, targeting to ideate, concept, deliver and maintain products and services, that will fulfill the expectation of Chinese BMW customers.

As the Vice President of AUO’s Innovation Development, Jennifer Lin directs the development of advanced automotive display technologies and future-oriented technologies. Under her leadership, the team has achieved global recognition for world-leading display technologies, including the prestigious SID Best in Show Award for the world’s first high-resolution AM Micro LED display in 2018. With over 20 years of experience in the display industry, Jennifer has profound expertise in process integration, product design, product marketing, strategic planning, and R&D. She holds a Master’s degree in Physics from National Central University.

Dr. Ralph Trapp serves as Executive Vice President of Research and Development at BHTC. He leads BHTC's global R&D teams in developing innovative solutions for display products, HMI systems and thermal management. Since joining BHTC in 1999, he has accumulated over 25 years of experience in advanced engineering, HMI and Display product development as well as climate applications. He has been a Member of the Management Board since 2015 and has steered global R&D since 2020. Dr. Trapp holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University Paderborn.

Tingrei Chang is currently the Associate Vice President of the Automotive Product Development Center at AUO. Since joining the company in 2002, he has been deeply engaged in the field of display R&D, with extensive experience in the development of large-sized LCD platform technology, as well as audio-video and automotive display panel design. He is well-versed in both technology development and product implementation. Tingrei Chang received a Master’s degree in Electro-Optical Engineering from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.

Dr. Stefan Kirsch serves as Global Head of Advanced Engineering at BHTC. He leads BHTC’s global program to scout for the latest technologies and to increase their maturity to a certain level.
Since joining BHTC in 2016, he led the technology development for Active Haptics, including advanced engineering and series development projects. He assumed his current role in 2023.
Dr. Kirsch holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin.

Allen Wu is the Associate Vice President of the AUO Automotive Micro LED Promotion Office. He is also responsible for AUO’s business development and the establishment of its new technology ecosystem. With nearly 24 years at AUO, he has held various roles, including product engineering, R&D, product management, and strategic planning. He has accumulated extensive experience in the display industry, with strong expertise and integration capabilities spanning technology development and commercialization.

Valentin Schulz is an Innovation Manager at Saint-Gobain Sekurit, leading the research and development portfolios of advanced HMI technologies and thermal management systems for automotive glazing applications. His work focuses on functionalizing glazing surfaces to deliver uncompromised user experience, comfort, and safety on board. With deep expertise in applied research and product development, Valentin plays a pivotal role in driving Sekurit's most transformative innovations.

Hong-Jye Hong is the Senior VP of Mobility Solution Product Research and Development at AUO, responsible for the strategy and advancement of mobility products and integrated solutions. He joined AUO in 2001 and has served in various positions including Associate VP of TV Display Product Development Center and VP of Technology Development Office. He has extensive experience in the development of display products and technologies, specifically for TV and automotive applications. Prior to joining AUO, he worked at the Electronic Research and Service Organization in the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), contributing to the development of flat panel displays. Hong holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, United States.
